Winter Weather Policy
In the event of winter weather the office
will generally follow Loudoun County School policies. If schools
are on a 2 hour delay opening the office will likely open 2
hours delayed. If schools are closed, the office may still open
but on a 2 hour delay. We will do our best to try to reach
scheduled patients in the event of any changes in schedule.
ATTENTION PATIENTS WITH AETNA
DENTAL INSURANCE
We are pleased to announce that Aetna
has provided us an updated fee schedule that will allow us
to remain in network! We apologize for any inconvenience
this has caused.
DEMANDFORCE
We have recently partnered with
Demandforce to help improve our communication and service. We
are now able to confirm appointments by email and text
messaging. We are also able to take appointment requests through
our website. The most valuable feature for us is the reviews and
surveys we receive from parents after their child’s visit in our
office. The reviews are shared with all the staff. We appreciate
the positive reviews and especially appreciate the suggestions
on how we can improve our service. Please be patient as we
implement this system.
STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are sad to announce that Dana has left the
practice to return home. She was a favorite of many of the kids
and we will miss her. We wish her the best in her new pursuits.
We have recently hired a new assistant, Mehrnoosh. You can read
about her on the Meet Our Team
page.
We are excited to announce
that Dr. Angela Austin has joined our office on a part-time
basis. Dr. Mike worked with Dr. Austin at Children’s Hospital in
2004-2005. She shares the same philosophies of compassionate
care and preventive education.
THANK
YOU
Thank you to all the kids and parents who have come to see us
and who have entrusted us with the referral of their friends and
family members. We hope to exceed your expectations!
You can find some of your kids' Kute
Kwotes on the page titled "Why Do Kids Trust Us."
INSURANCE
We participate with a number of
PPO insurance plans. Please check with your insurance plan to
confirm that we are in network with your plan.

FLUORIDE
A number of parents have told us they are on well water.
Fluoride content in well water can vary significantly and can
actually be excessive. Anyone on
well water should have their water tested to ensure their
children are getting the proper amount of fluoride. Further
information can be found on the Loudoun County Health Department
website. Click here (www.loudoun.gov)
to learn more.
