We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with your child to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I joined the Little Pearls Dentistry team in 2012, bringing with me 40 years of experience as a Certified Dental Assistant and dental office administrator. I enjoyed working in many dental offices as I traveled with my husband during his naval career. I worked for many years in orthodontics and general dentistry, but I find pediatric dentistry the most rewarding--the kids make each and every day special! I am so happy to be a member of the wonderful team here at Little Pearls Dentistry.
Originally from Pennsylvania, I am proud to call Loudoun County home. I enjoy spending time with my husband, my three children and their spouses, and our five grandchildren. Sunday evening dinners are a weekly event for13! I love attending sporting events for my grandchildren, shopping, traveling, and spending time with friends.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Being a dental hygienist means being a partner with patients in helping them to achieve their optimum oral health. This includes more than actually cleaning patients’ teeth. It involves being knowledgeable about current research and products related to oral health, working with patients to identify their oral health needs, setting goals, and providing them with the knowledge and tools to achieve these goals. It is my privilege to work with my patients every day, and deliver the best oral health care possible.
I enjoy spending my spare time with my husband and two children. I love to bike, hike, and travel. I also enjoy volunteering within the local community.
Registered Dental Hygienist
After many years working as a Certified Dental Assistant and pursuing other non-dental interests for a time, I was employed for five years as a dental hygiene assistant. In 2009, I earned my degree in Dental Hygiene, and joined Little Pearls. I strive to establish goals for good oral health with each child and their parents, and provide oral health education, including oral hygiene techniques and products that can help prevent dental disease and enhance oral health. It is one of my biggest priorities to help my patients feel comfortable in our office. It is especially gratifying to see a child who started out feeling anxious become a child who LOVES to come to the dentist! I attend continuing education seminars encompassing various subjects, including dental care for the special needs child, oral cancer, pharmacology, emergency procedures, Reiki, and nutrition. I have participated in Mission for Mercy which provides no-cost dental services to the uninsured and Virginia's Oral Health Coalition Dental Home Initiative which encourages families to establish an early dental home for their children. I am a member of the Northern Virginia Dental Hygienists' Association and the American Dental Hygienists' Association.
We have a GREAT team at Little Pearls Dentistry. Everyone is focused on giving the best care to to our patients which makes for an very enjoyable work environment.
Outside of the office I love spending time with family and friends. I enjoy listening to music, swimming, sailing, tennis, and equestrian activities.
Cuba is my home country, where I have beautiful memories about my childhood. In my early 20s, I moved to Spain and was trained as a dental hygienist. I recently moved to Northern Virginia to pursue my goals of advancing my education, and am currently attending NOVA while working at Little Pearls. While assisting our dentists is obviously a central part of my job, making patients feel calm and comfortable while they’re in our office is my most important goal. I love hearing a patient tell their parents that they love the dentist! I love our dentists, too—they treat their patients ethically and believe in recommending treatments only when needed.
I now live in Reston, where I love learning about everything, reading, running, hiking, and traveling. I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
I graduated with honors as a dental assistant at Concorde Career College in Memphis, Tennessee in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, I had the privilege of working with military servicemen and their families at a joint command at Patch Dental Clinic in Stuttgart, Germany. It was a wonderful experience! In 2010, I relocated to Leesburg and joined the Little Pearls team. I love to help little ones overcome their fears and help them see that our office really can be a fun and safe place. I try to be open and sympathetic to their needs and really enjoy working with children with special needs. It’s so rewarding to see the children grow over the years and get to know them as an individual.
I am a Washingtonian at heart but have made Northern Virginia my home for the past five years. I enjoy spending time with family, especially with my two beautiful girls and our cat. I have rediscovered hiking and looking forward to exploring all the beautiful places Virginia has to offer. I also love to travel and hope to see more of the world in the near future.
I am excited to have joined the team at Little Pearls Dentistry. I started working with them in 2011 and have recently become a permanent member of the team. I enjoy assisting the doctors in helping our patients improve their dental health. I try to provide excellent customer service to uphold our reputation. I love the sense of teamwork and the way everyone works together.
I obtained my dental degree from the University National Autonomy of Mexico in 1989 and participated in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Maryland Dental School in 2009. I am currently working towards obtaining my United Stated dental degree.
I love spending time with my two daughters, son and other family that lives in the area. I enjoy playing football, cycling, and reading.
I’m here to assist our doctors and hygiene team with our patients’ care and also take care of answering the phones and setting up appointments when needed. I try my best to make patients feel comfortable by being calm and gentle, and I know I’ve succeeded when a fearful patient becomes a happy patient by the time their appointment is over. That little “thank you” can make my whole day sometimes! I’m very glad to be a part of the Little Pearls team and look forward to many years in this friendly, family-oriented office.
I was born and raised in California and moved out to Virginia in the summer of 2014. I currently attend school full time studying ASL but plan on starting my pre-requisites for dental hygiene. I enjoy watching movies and laughing with good friends and family. I also like to sing, even though I can’t!
